I See People Who Are 'Leading' the Prime Minister. Armen Danielyan
The former Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia, Armen Danielyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Unfortunately, I see officials who are not lifting a finger. I see people who are 'leading' Nikol Pashinyan hand in hand with the former ones. I see obvious sluggishness and a certain restraint in the fight against corruption... I see officials who are apparently trying to resemble the former ones. I see people who want to 'prove' that they operate outside the law and will do whatever they want, however they want. And finally, I see people who inadvertently pour water into the previous 'rock-hard cheese' mill with their behavior...
H. G. Nikol Pashinyan deserves support, and he should not hide behind his back and not work. No one from the former regime had any demands or expectations. They took ten thousand drams and suffered for five years. The former ones did not have a problem of failure. Everything was initially flawed; those appointed to high positions were exclusively wolves with great experience in engaging in corruption, and the richer their practice of bribery, the higher and more profitable positions they were appointed to. Expectations from Pashinyan's government are incredibly high. Society sees in him a guarantor of justice and their struggle. They see a simple and sincere person. And whether he remains Prime Minister or not, he will always be recognized as an unwavering and fighting figure who collapsed autocracy, crushed the stereotype of 'irreplaceability' and the notion of eternal power, and awakened hope among hopeless people regarding the present and the future. I want to see those who carry the banner of that hope, proving with their unwavering actions that Nikol Pashinyan was right... and is right..."
