Major Accident-Fire: 3 of the Injured are Children

On August 25, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

At approximately 21:50, a collision took place between a Mercedes vehicle driven by 36-year-old Armen G. from Sevan and a Mitsubishi Grandis driven by 33-year-old Arman S. from Yerevan on the 64th kilometer of the Yerevan-Ijevan highway. As a result of the accident, a fire broke out in one of the vehicles.

Elena P., a 31-year-old passenger in the Mitsubishi Grandis, received on-site medical assistance from emergency medical staff, while Armen G., the driver of the Mercedes, was transported to the Sevan medical center. Passengers Roman S., aged 6, Beatriz S., aged 8, and 2-year-old Aurora S. were taken to the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center in Yerevan for treatment.

The police are preparing materials regarding the incident.
