Opening of the Gyumri Automotive Customs Terminal Scheduled for October 11 - David Ananyan
The work to relocate the automotive customs terminal to Gyumri is progressing rapidly, and we are currently discussing the feasibility of operating on a 24-hour basis.
This was stated by the head of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, during a conversation with journalists in Gyumri today, on August 25.
“We plan to announce the opening immediately after the first ten days of October. The opening of the automotive customs terminal is scheduled for October 11,” he noted.
Regarding the workload, Ananyan expressed confidence that by the end of the year, the customs terminal will operate on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week, due to an unprecedented increase in vehicle imports expected in October.
“Starting next year, we will also reorganize the customs terminal to facilitate overall business operations there,” David Ananyan added.
