Israeli Drone Incursion in Beirut Is an Attack on Sovereignty, Hariri Says
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has described the incursion of Israeli drones into Beirut's airspace as an attack on the country's sovereignty, Reuters reports.
According to him, the entry of two Israeli drones into Beirut threatens regional stability and increases tensions. Hariri stated that he held consultations with President Michel Aoun regarding the measures that would be taken in response to the "new aggression."
As reported by TASS, two Israeli drones were observed over southern Beirut during the night. One of them crashed and was found in the Mouawad area, near a Hezbollah information center. The other exploded in mid-air, causing a fire to break out in a building.
Hezbollah's leader stated that military police personnel did not shoot down the drones.
