Accident in Yerevan Involves Opel Astra G and Opel Corsa, Several Hospitalized
On August 24, at 11:30 AM, the emergency service received a report of a traffic accident involving vehicles near building number 25 on Tbilisi Highway in Yerevan, with casualties requiring rescue assistance.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that a firefighting unit from the Yerevan rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was confirmed that a collision occurred between an Opel Astra G (driver: Arsen H.) and an Opel Corsa (driver: Gurgin M.).
Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, a passenger from the Opel Astra G, identified as Rafael S. (born in 2015), was transported to Arabkir Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory. Other individuals involved included Khnarik A. (born in 1959), Lusine M. (born in 1980), and Nelli M. (born in 1981), who were taken to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center. Lusine and Nelli M. received appropriate medical care and were discharged, while Khnarik A.'s health condition was also deemed satisfactory.
Emergency medical personnel provided necessary assistance on-site to the drivers, and no hospitalization was required for them. Rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power and shut off the gas cylinder valves.
