Remote Admission to State Universities: When and How to Apply

As we have already reported, the entrance exams for full-time education systems at universities in Armenia and Artsakh have concluded, and the results of the admissions are already known.

In most cases, the application period for remote education has been announced. Applications are accepted from August 26 to September 25 of the current year, and documents must be submitted to the admission committee of the respective university.

Applicants for remote bachelor's programs must submit the following with their application form:

• A certificate with a photograph confirming attendance in the final year of study, signed by the school principal (graduates from previous years must submit their final documents, such as certificate or diploma).
• Six photographs (size 3 x 4 cm).
• An identity document (original with a copy)—such as a passport, identification card, birth certificate, military ID, refugee certificate, special passport of the Republic of Armenia, or residence permit.
• If the identity card or birth certificate is absent, a temporary identification document issued by the Police of the Republic of Armenia can be provided.
• Applicants discharged from military service must submit their military ID and a certificate from the military commissariat confirming their service, location, and service description; while those who have not served must provide a military enlistment record (original with a copy).
• Applicants benefiting from exemptions defined by points 105 and 106 of Government Decision No. 597-N of April 26, 2012 must provide documents confirming their right to such exemptions (original with copies).
• Copies of diplomas from international and republican competitions.
• A receipt for payment of 1500 AMD for participating in each university's exam as well as for submitting and registering documents.

It should be noted that the results of the entrance exams for applicants who registered for full-time education and scored positive points are kept for one year, and the applicant can transfer the scores to the remote learning program.
