Joe Biden Imagines Barack Obama's Death in Front of Voters
Former U.S. Vice President and presidential candidate Joe Biden told his voters what would happen if the country's former leader Barack Obama were assassinated. This was reported by Fox News.
Biden recalled Obama while discussing American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., who was assassinated on April 4, 1968, and presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, who was gunned down on June 6, 1968. Biden stated that they are his political heroes.
“In my senior semester, both were shot. Imagine what would have happened if, God forbid, Barack Obama were assassinated after becoming a candidate... What would the country be like?” he posed rhetorically to the audience.
Journalists and the public criticized the presidential candidate for his comments about Obama's imagined death.
