Nikol Pashinyan's Visit to Jermuk Attempts to Diminish Public Dissatisfaction and Buy Time, Says Armen Ashtoyan
This government is not only inadequate to the numerous external and internal challenges facing our country, but with its criminal arrogance, empty rhetoric, and semi-knowledge, it is worsening an already heated and dangerous atmosphere. This was stated by the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashtoyan, on his Facebook page.
He specifically noted:
- Nikol Pashinyan is attempting to diminish the wave of public dissatisfaction and buy time with his visit to Jermuk.
- Nikol is negotiating parallel behind-the-scenes agreements with concerned groups regarding the Amulsar issue.
- Disagreements within the ruling party are deepening on this matter.
- The U.S. government plans to cut financial assistance to Artsakh.
- Nikol's upcoming visit to the U.S. may turn into an agenda exclusively focused on the UN and the diaspora, without a significant American component.
- The Russian side has not extradited Mihran Poghosyan, with a very disgraceful justification for this government.
- Currently, there is more skeptical reporting regarding Russian President V. Putin's potential visit to Armenia and participation in the EAEU summit than definitive positive decisions.
- Western-oriented NGOs will enter Artsakh for the local government elections through Nikol's hand and funding.
- Nikol continues preparations for another assault on the Constitutional Court.
- The Venice Commission will provide advisory opinions on Robert Kocharian's case.
- The BBC operation failed, and the decision to arrest Serzh Sargsyan has been postponed indefinitely.
This government is not only inadequate to the numerous external and internal challenges facing our country, but with its criminal arrogance, empty rhetoric, and semi-knowledge, it is worsening an already heated and dangerous atmosphere.
