Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Meets with RyanAir's Commercial Director

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received David O'Brien, the Chief Commercial Officer of the Irish airline RyanAir, and Kate Sherry, the Head of Route Development, today.

The Prime Minister stated that the government of Armenia has prioritized tourism, recognizing the sector's significant development potential. In this context, the development of civil aviation is a crucial step.

Pashinyan emphasized that the government values the involvement of leading companies in the aviation sector within the Armenian aviation market, and the meeting with RyanAir representatives is a good opportunity to discuss collaboration possibilities.

RyanAir's Chief Commercial Officer expressed the company's intention to enter the Armenian aviation market soon, stating that discussions are currently ongoing with the Civil Aviation Committee and Zvartnots International Airport regarding this process. He outlined the vision for operations in Armenia, discussing flights to new destinations, pricing policy, and other related issues.

Welcoming the airline's intention to enter Armenia, Prime Minister Pashinyan affirmed the government's readiness to support this process as much as possible. The government leader suggested continuing joint efforts around a concrete proposal for mutually beneficial cooperation.
