‘Hraparak’: Prime Minister Dismisses Advisor Over Improper Conduct Towards Investors
‘Hraparak’ newspaper reports: Yesterday, three advisors of the Prime Minister were dismissed by his order: chief advisors Arsen Gasparyan and Aram Ghahramanyan, and Mher Sahakyan. Aram Ghahramanyan is a representative of the old regime, having previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, and later as an advisor to the Prime Minister and President from 2008 to 2018. In 2018, he was appointed as an advisor to Nikol Pashinyan. Meanwhile, Arsen Gasparyan worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 1999, then moved to Russia, later to the USA, and returned to Armenia in 2018 after the revolution.
The sudden dismissal of these individuals has raised eyebrows among some. The newspaper was able to ascertain that the reason for Arsen Gasparyan's removal was his improper behavior towards investors. There are suspicions within the government that his conduct has caused some investors to leave Armenia.
