Civil Aviation Committee: No Application Received for Flights from Pobeda to Yerevan
Media reports alleging that the head of the Civil Aviation Committee, Tatevik Revazyan, is obstructing the Russian airline Pobeda from operating flights to Yerevan are inaccurate. The Civil Aviation Committee has issued a statement addressing these claims.
Specifically, the statement reads: "In this regard, the Committee informs that it has not received any application from the Russian airline Pobeda for flights to Yerevan. Additionally, no designation for the airline to operate flights from any city in Russia to Yerevan has been received through diplomatic channels from the Russian aviation authorities. Furthermore, the Committee has not received any official correspondence from the airline regarding the suspension of flights during the Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 navigation period to date."
