Condition of 24-Year-Old Girl Who Jumped from Kyivan Bridge Stabilizes

On August 8, it was reported that the condition of the 24-year-old girl who jumped from the Kyivan Bridge in Yerevan on August 7 is stabilizing. Arsen Grigoryan, the director of surgical services at Armenia Medical Center, informed NEWS.am about her condition. She is currently in the intensive care unit under strict medical supervision.

It is noteworthy that the girl has sustained multiple fractures to her head, chest, and abdomen.

Earlier reports indicated that at 10:43 AM on August 7, a call was received by the 911 emergency services reporting a suicide attempt, as a citizen had jumped from the Kyivan Bridge in Yerevan. Emergency rescue teams and the operational group from the National Center for Crisis Management quickly arrived at the scene. The citizen, who is approximately 24 years old, was showing signs of life.

The rescuers transported the affected individual to an ambulance, and she was subsequently hospitalized at the Armenia Medical Center.
