Video: Three Women Steal Five Exotic Trees in Yerevan

Measures are being taken in the criminal case investigated by the Investigative Division of the Center and Norq-Marik Administrative Districts of the Yerevan City Investigative Committee to determine the identities of individuals involved in the theft from a retail shop. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Division of the RA Investigative Committee.

On June 1, 2019, a citizen reported to the police that on the same day, at approximately 02:30, three women had stolen five exotic trees located in front of a retail shop on Moscow Street. A criminal case has been initiated at the Central Police Station under the first point of part 2 of Article 177 of the RA Criminal Code, and the preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Investigative Division of the Center and Norq-Marik Administrative Districts.

During the preliminary investigation, recordings from a video surveillance camera at the scene have been retrieved and examined. To ensure a comprehensive, objective, and thorough investigation of the criminal case, measures are being taken to identify the individuals captured in the footage.

“We ask the mentioned individuals to present themselves to the conducting authority, or anyone who recognizes them or has any information regarding their identity or whereabouts to contact the Investigative Division of the Center and Norq-Marik Administrative Districts of the RA Investigative Committee,” the statement from the Committee reads.
