Video: Man Arrested for Committing Sexual Assault Against a Girl

On August 5, a 21-year-old girl reported to the Central Police Department that on August 4, in the Vayots Dzor region, a man took advantage of her helpless condition and committed sexual assault against her will.

The police took her statement, and the information about the incident was relayed to the Jermuk Police Department.

The Jermuk criminal investigation team, collaborating with officers from the Vayots Dzor regional department and the Central Police Department, swiftly identified the suspect in the crime.

A 49-year-old man from Yeghvard was located and apprehended on the same day as the report was made.

The circumstances of the case are being clarified.

An investigation is underway.
