A Giant Tree Falls on a Mercedes in the Hrazdan Gorge
On August 4, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 21:10, a centuries-old thick-trunked tree was uprooted and fell onto a parked Mercedes in the permitted area of the Hrazdan Gorge.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, fortunately, there are no casualties, but the car has become inoperable. The photojournalist reports that the vehicle is insured under "CASCO," and the insurance company is obliged to provide compensation without unnecessary delays.
A police investigator from the Malatia police department has also arrived at the scene, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The damaged vehicle is estimated to be worth around 70,000 to 75,000 euros in the car market.
