18-Year-Old Was Behind the Wheel of a Range Rover: New Details on the Major Accident
New details have emerged today, August 4, regarding the major accident that occurred in the Ararat region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at 1:17 PM, a Range Rover (driver: N.G., born in 2001) veered off the roadway at the 25th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, overturned, and caught fire.
Before rescuers arrived at the scene, one of the passengers was transported to Yerevan's Erebuni Medical Center by bystanders. Meanwhile, the driver and passengers A.B. (born in 1998) and G.S. (born in 1998) were hospitalized at Artashat Medical Center. Doctors have assessed the condition of the injured as stable.
The fire was contained at 1:24 PM and extinguished at 1:29 PM. The engine of the vehicle was partially burned. Rescuers also disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
