It turned out that the injured individual was 29-year-old Andranik M., a resident of the village of Mrgashat in the Armavir region. While doctors were attending to his injuries, officers from the Armavir police, through prompt investigative measures, determined that at around 2:00 PM the same day, residents of Mrgashat, 28-year-old Harutyun H., 35-year-old Arshaluys H., and the injured Andranik M. had gone to the fields at the edge of the village to hunt birds. There, Andranik M.'s dog attacked Arshaluys H. Seeing this, Andranik M. attempted to scare the dog away by shooting it with a 12 mm smoothbore hunting shotgun belonging to Arshaluys H., resulting in an accidental discharge that wounded Andranik M. in the abdomen.

The investigative work at the scene was supervised by investigator Hakobyan from the same investigative department, who is preparing materials regarding the incident. According to sources, Arshaluys H. is an officer in the defense ministry. Several expert examinations have been appointed to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
