New Details: 'Cut Your Hands, Mix Your Blood with Wax, and Sprinkle It on the Gravestones'

According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovourd', it has been reported that the graves of the heroes of the April War have been desecrated at the 'Yerablur' military pantheon. A substance reminiscent of black paint was poured over the gravestones.

Details about the desecration were revealed to Armlur.am, and official information was also provided by the police. Specifically, the police disclosed that Greta Mnatsakanyan was identified in connection with the desecration case at 'Yerablur', who explained that she was instructed from above (the Almighty) to 'cut your hands, mix your blood with wax, and sprinkle it on the gravestones', which she did.

As for what other details may emerge, time will tell. However, it is noteworthy that following the events at 'Yerablur', information circulated indicating that the alleged perpetrators of such desecration had not only committed acts at 'Yerablur' but that similar incidents had been uncovered at other cemeteries as well. Nevertheless, these cases had not been officially established until the police were able to quickly identify a suspect in the incident that occurred yesterday.

It’s worth recalling that on April 2 of this year, the unsolved case regarding the theft of vehicles belonging to the relatives of fallen hero Armenak Urfanyan has still not been resolved four months later. The head of the Armenian Police, Valeri Osipyan, had taken personal control of the investigation, but despite this rapid response, the crime that suggested a quick resolution remains unsolved four months later.

Yesterday, 'Zhoghovourd' again approached the Investigative Committee of Armenia to understand whether there are any accused individuals in the case or if specific persons have confessed to the crime. In response, it was stated that there are currently no individuals with a procedural status of accused in this criminal case. Although the police and the military police of the Ministry of Defense acted more promptly yesterday, it is often the very negligence and sluggishness that lead to such situations and give rise to new crimes.
