I Called and Thanked Arthur Vanetsyan: David Ananyan

I cannot imagine a day will come when, if you ask me or the future heads of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), whether there is corruption in our system, they will confidently say, 'definitely not.' This statement was made today during a press briefing by the Chairman of the SRC, David Ananyan.

Ananyan noted that in connection with two corruption cases uncovered by the National Security Service (NSS), he called and thanked Arthur Vanetsyan, as, in his characterization, the work of the NSS is purifying the SRC.

“We welcome any assistance we can receive in this process. We say there is no systemic corruption, but we no longer want to make that statement. I am confident that among the public, and we also are aware, our services are also bringing to light that yes, there are individual instances of corruption, individual manifestations, against which we must conduct an impartial struggle and we must not cease in our efforts,” emphasized the SRC Chairman.
