Man Brutally Beaten by Two Individuals in Hrazdan Gorge, Left Bloodied Near St. Sargis Church
On July 30, at 19:23, an unknown citizen called the police to report that a bloodied man was lying near the St. Sargis Church.
The police in Yerevan reported that officers from the Public Order Protection Division transported a 40-year-old man to the Central Police Division. He stated that on the same day, at 18:00, in the Hrazdan Gorge, during an argument, two individuals struck him in the face, head, and various parts of his body with their hands, feet, and other objects, causing bodily harm, and also stole his mobile phone.
Thanks to the investigative measures taken by the division's criminal investigators, the identities of the perpetrators were established. Two men, aged 33 and 41, without a permanent residence, were taken to the police station at 21:00 and provided confessional statements.
Efforts are underway to recover the stolen item. Preparatory materials are being processed.
