Video: 3 Million Hectares of Forest Burning in Siberia

Wildfires that began days ago in Siberia are intensifying. More than 3 million hectares of forest are now engulfed in flames. Currently, there are 500 active fire zones, with their area steadily increasing. The fires have been caused by high temperatures, lightning strikes, and strong winds.

Due to the forest fires, an emergency situation regime has been declared in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, Irkutsk Oblast, and parts of Buryatia.
