Two Children Drown in Tavush Province

A tragic incident occurred today, July 29, in the village of Gandzakar. Two boys, aged 5 and 7, drowned in the swimming pool of the village’s ‘Menua’ resort area. This was confirmed by the head of the Gandzakar community, Vardges Dovlatbekyan, in a conversation with NEWS.am.

“The children were residents of Yerevan, and they came here for vacation. Perhaps their parents were inattentive, which led to the incident,” the community leader stated, noting that the event occurred a few hours earlier.
