Major Accident in Syunik Province: Condition of Two Injured Brothers Critical
On July 27, a major traffic accident occurred in Syunik Province. According to Shamshyan.com, around 16:30, two vehicles collided on the 206 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway. The cars involved were a Mercedes, license plate 34 DM 259, driven by 22-year-old Arman Mkrtchyan, and a Mercedes G-500, license plate 77 VN 777, driven by 54-year-old Samvel Isakhanyan.
As a result of the collision, the Mercedes G-500 overturned. The driver, S. I., along with his passengers, 59-year-old S. I. and 67-year-old A. I., all residents of Kotayk Province, were transported to the Sisian Medical Center, with two of them suffering from critical injuries.
Rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries, shut off the gas tank, and secured the area. According to sources, the driver and the injured individuals are brothers, and two of them were later transferred from the Sisian Medical Center to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.
