Large Fire in Kotayk Province

For more than 2 hours, firefighters from the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Emergency Situations Ministry have been battling a large fire that broke out in a horticultural company located in the administrative territory of the village of Arzni in Kotayk Province. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the firefighters are facing significant challenges in controlling the blaze due to the abundance of dry grass in the area, which causes the fire to flare up and spread within seconds.

Additionally, wooden and iron trailer houses located in various sections of the horticultural company have also caught fire, turning into heaps of ash. Fortunately, there have been no injuries reported as a result of the fire. Firefighters have managed to prevent the spread of the flames and have effectively extinguished the fire thanks to their tremendous efforts. Currently, they are conducting reconnaissance operations to determine whether any areas still remain smoldering.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
