On July 21 in Yerevan, in the Ajapnyak administrative district at Gevorg Chavush Square, one of the drivers who deliberately violated traffic rules is the nephew of a former police chief.
As reported earlier, on July 21, a video was published and circulated online, showing how two drivers in two "Niva" vehicles were deliberately committing gross violations of traffic rules at Gevorg Chavush Square, showing blatant disrespect towards other road users and endangering their lives and health.
Immediately after the release of the video, police officers detained both drivers, taking them to the Mashtots police station, while the vehicles were taken to a police impound lot. According to Shamshyan.com, the drivers are 19-year-old Sargis Sargsyan from the village of Kanachut in the Ararat region and 20-year-old Kamo Khalatyan from the Central administrative district of Yerevan.
