Video: I Don't Want to Say Former Police Chiefs Are Bad, I'm the Fluffy One - Osipyan

As long as there is crime, there will be a confrontation between the criminal and the police. This was stated by the Chief of Police of Armenia, Valeriy Osipyan, during a concluding press conference while responding to the question of whether the police are currently defenseless given the recent attacks they have faced.

"I don't want to say that former police chiefs are bad; the best is me, I am the fluffy one. No! This has existed in all times and will continue to exist. As long as there is crime, there will be a confrontation between criminals and police. This will always be the case. Hasn't a police officer's head been smashed in the past? Haven't police officers been killed in broad daylight before? But let's see that for this past year and more, the police have fully mastered the operational situation, have the necessary will and principles to combat negative phenomena effectively, to fight crime, to properly maintain public order, and to prevent anyone from infringing upon public order. Those who do so will be severely punished on the spot," he stated.
