The governor of the Khabarovsk region of Russia, Sergey Furgal, has announced the preliminary cause of the fire that broke out in a children's camp. This information was reported by REN TV.

According to the governor, the fire may have started because one of the children left a towel on a heater. He also noted that the tent camp was illegal, as no one was aware of its existence. “The tent camp was private,” Furgal remarked.

It is important to remember that the tragedy claimed the lives of 2 children, while two others suffered burns. The fire broke out on the evening of July 22.
