VIDEO: Police Respond to Drift Incident at Gevorg Chavush Square

On July 21, a video was published and circulated online showing two drivers performing deliberate and gross violations of traffic regulations with their "Niva" vehicles at Gevorg Chavush Square in the Ajapnyak administrative district. The actions displayed a blatant disrespect for other road users, endangering their lives and health.

Immediately following the video’s publication, officers from the Yerevan City Police Department, Mashtots Division, as well as employees from the Traffic Patrol Service and the city’s traffic police units, took joint measures to identify the individuals who were driving the vehicles. The young drivers were located and held administratively accountable. Their vehicles were towed to a designated area managed by the traffic police.
