Video: Death Toll of Children in Khabarovsk Camp Fire Reaches 4
The death toll in a tent camp fire at a ski resort in the Khabarovsk region of Russia has reached 4. All victims were children—3 girls and 1 boy. According to "Vedomosti," one of the girls died at the scene, while the other three succumbed to their injuries later in the hospital's intensive care unit.
Additionally, there are 12 injured individuals, including 5 adults and 7 children. It was noted that at the time of the fire, there were 189 children aged 7 to 15 present in the camp.
The camp director, Maxim Kuznetsov, has been arrested. Also arrested is Vitaly Burlakov, the director of "Extreme Service" LLC, the company that owned the tent camp.
As previously reported, the fire broke out at the private tent camp on the evening of July 22.
