Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Collision Between Mercedes and Opel Leaves One Injured

A major car accident occurred in Yerevan today, July 22, around 09:30 AM. The incident took place at the intersection of Tichina and Voskanian streets, involving an Opel vehicle with license plate 35 ZC 638 and a Mercedes with license plate 36 DU 104.

According to Shamshyan.com, the collision caused the Opel to continue forward, overturning and landing in the middle of the road.

The report states that the Yerevan 1-03 emergency service brigade arrived promptly at the scene and provided first aid to the driver of the Opel, who initially refused to go to the hospital. However, after some time, his condition worsened, and he was transported to the Astghik Medical Center by the emergency team that arrived on the scene.

Under the investigator's instructions, the vehicles have been moved to a designated area under Yerevan's traffic police supervision.
