10 Individuals Placed Under Arrest in Connection with Disturbances in Ijevan, Investigative Committee Reports

In the context of the disturbances that took place in the city of Ijevan, 13 individuals have been charged as defendants. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Investigative Committee, Naira Harutyunyan.

"Arrest has been chosen as a measure of restraint for 10 individuals, one individual has been placed under an undertaking not to leave, and for two individuals the previously chosen measure of restraint has been changed from arrest to bail," said Naira Harutyunyan.

The preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigative actions are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the incident, identify individuals suspected of committing the alleged crime, and to provide criminal-legal assessments of their actions.
