«Haven't We Caught Cholera?» Residents of Yerevan on Trash Issues

Eliza Arakelyan wrote on her Facebook page, “Let’s get up and do something about this trash issue. Let’s go resolve it with ‘Sanitek’ and finally understand what those people want. Haven't we caught cholera?”

The trash problem has become critical. Residents of Yerevan are posting about it on their Facebook pages; let’s present a few more comments.

“This kind of disgraceful situation never even existed before ‘Sanitek’ came. The claims that people are littering do not reflect reality. People are trying in every way to throw their trash in a manner that at least lands on top of those trash mountains, so as not to occupy more space with pileups.”

“We pay for this service, for which we receive a receipt, but why should we find ourselves in such a situation? The talks that this is ‘sabotage’ are simply justifications for their inaction.”

“It’s just easier to blame, to talk from pulpits, to stand on the other side of the barricades, to criticize in Facebook live streams, than to actually work. We are already tired. Enough!”
