«Hraparak». Wedding of the Century: Anahit Tsarukyan Regularly Travels to Dubai to Tailor Her Dress
«Hraparak» newspaper writes: The date for the year's most anticipated wedding, between Khachatur Sukiasyan’s son Albert and Gagik Tsarukyan’s daughter Anahit, has been set for September 7. Preparations are in full swing.
The wedding ceremony will take place at the St. John the Baptist Church in Abovyan, which was built by the bride's father. The celebration will be held at the ‘Paravon’ complex, where the 800-seat hall is currently being remodeled, and a special stage is being constructed for the newlyweds, resulting in 300 seats being removed.
The wedding dress is being tailored by the world-renowned Elie Saab, a Lebanese designer who has created dresses for many Hollywood stars. The price of his gowns typically starts from $200,000 to $300,000. Sources indicate that Anahit Tsarukyan is traveling to Dubai every few months to oversee the dress fitting.
Additionally, the families' young children will be dressed identically for the wedding; their outfits are being designed by Sukiasyan’s daughter, Anna Sukiasyan, whose brand ‘Ankasa’ is associated with this project.
It has been reported that they have opted to forgo the most popular wedding hosts and instead are hiring theater actors proficient in Russian and English, including actor Tigran Nersisyan from the Sundukyan Theater.
Performers will include both Armenian and foreign artists, although their names have yet to be revealed. Our source also mentioned that various individuals have been calling to inquire about the wedding date and whether they are on the guest list. The number of guests will be limited to no more than 500, according to their standards.
