Video: Tavush Governor on Recent Events in Ijevan

Our approach is unequivocal and unwavering that no illegal act can be tolerated by the Republic of Armenia anymore. This was stated by Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan during a Facebook Live session addressing the issue of illegal logging, which led to today's incidents in Ijevan.

“No concessions to illegality. No illegal demands have been met. The only demand we've fulfilled is the establishment of a standardized price for windfall trees, set at 6000 drams per square meter,” Chobanyan said.
