Hovik Abrahamyan Has Not Visited Monaco in the Last 10 Years, Did Not Lose Anything or Sell Any Assets: Clarification
The former Prime Minister of Armenia and former Head of the National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan, has not visited Monaco at any time in the last 10 years, has not lost anything and has not sold any assets. This was clarified by Abrahamyan's office in response to a press release.
It is noteworthy that today, the newspaper ‘Zhamanak’ reported that Armenian law enforcement officers managed to establish that former National Assembly Speaker and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan made a private visit to Monaco during his tenure as Prime Minister. The amount lost in the casino was reported to be $9.5 million, which Abrahamyan allegedly paid from his personal card. According to certain sources, after the Velvet Revolution, Abrahamyan was forced to sell some of his assets to urgently pay off debts.
