- What is the purpose of your visit to Armenia? What will you do here? - First of all, thank you for the warm welcome. It is a great pleasure for me to visit your country and to be here in Yerevan. The main purpose was to meet my friend (pointing to Khoren Kalashyan) and also to meet with my other friends from the company Feed Construct. We are having meetings for potential future cooperation between them and Portuguese organizations. Of course, since we are here and the U19 European Championship 2019 is ongoing, I will also attend some matches to watch good football.

- What did you know about Armenia before your visit? - This is not my first time here. I have been here before just for the purpose of playing football. I came with the national team, if I’m not mistaken, in 2007. I don’t know much about Armenia because I’m not good at geography (laughs), but it’s always nice to be here since the people are very kind, good and hospitable. I believe that in some way our cultures are similar; the people are similar too. Since the day I arrived, I have seen the hospitality. I am very happy that everything is going very well, and I must thank everyone who has helped me to be here because I enjoy being here. I can see that the country is progressing. I see the government's efforts towards sports; I talk about sports because it is the most important thing for me. Football is advancing; you have young talented players. I think it is very important to work on the growth of young people because that way you will have stronger national teams in the future.

- What other sights will you visit? - I think the most important place to visit is this one. It is the most symbolic. And I’m glad to be here and can see the whole city from here. For me, it is very symbolic to be here. Today I will go to the city and attend football matches; there are two games, first Portugal is playing, then Armenia.

- You visited Tsitsernakaberd, do you know anything about the Armenian Genocide? - I think it is very important to respect the values of countries. And if there is this memorial complex, I believe it is crucial for people to come and always remember what happened in the past. For me personally, this is a way to show my respect to the victims and the country.
