Heat Expected to Reach +40 Degrees: Weather Forecast for the Coming Days

In the upcoming five days, elevated fire danger is expected in the valley and pre-mountain regions. The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that this forecast pertains to the weather throughout the republic.

According to the forecast, on July 17, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some northern areas, with the possibility of hail in certain locations on the 18th and 19th. From July 20-22, dry weather is anticipated.

The wind will be from the southwest at 3-8 m/s, with possible gusts of 20-25 m/s during thunderstorms. Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3 degrees by July 21.

In Yerevan, dry weather is expected on July 17, as well as from the 18th to the 22nd.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations also provides information regarding the rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and Lake Sevan of Armenia. No significant natural changes have been observed in the rivers.

As for the forecast of grape yield, based on specialized agro-meteorological calculations and analysis of observed weather conditions, the average grape yield for the republic in 2019 is expected to be 11 tons per hectare.
