Famous Actor Rudolf Ghevondyan Passes Away

Rudolf Ghevondyan, an actor at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre and a deserving artist of the Republic of Armenia, has passed away after a long illness. This was reported by the theatre's press service.

"We extend our deepest condolences to the artist's family, relatives, colleagues, and the thousands of fans of his art," stated a message published on Facebook.

Ghevondyan was born on March 6, 1952, in Stavropol. He began his studies in the acting department of the Fine Arts Theatre Institute in 1969. Since 1973, he had been working at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre.
