14-Year-Old Boy Injured in Georgian Accident Comes to Consciousness
A 14-year-old boy who was in extremely critical condition after a traffic accident near the town of Gori, Georgia, has regained consciousness and begun to breathe independently after undergoing surgery at the "Holy Mother of God" medical center. This was reported by the hospital's spokesperson, Gevorg Derzyan.
Derzyan specifically stated, "Good news! The 14-year-old boy who was transferred to the 'Holy Mother of God' medical center in extremely serious condition from the traffic accident near Gori has regained consciousness and begun to breathe independently. He has been OPERATED ON. Surgery was performed to stabilize the bone fragments in his lower extremities, osteosynthesis. The operation was successful, and his overall condition is assessed as satisfactory."
The other injured party, a 16-year-old girl, is also continuing treatment at the 'Holy Mother of God' medical center. She underwent successful surgery last week and is currently receiving planned treatment. Her life is not in danger.
The third victim of the same accident, a 12-year-old boy, was discharged from the 'Holy Mother of God' medical center on July 12 after recovering.
It should be noted that on July 7, while on their way to vacation, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a barrier near Gori. The accident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, while five others sustained injuries of varying degrees.
