VIDEO: Giant Python Attacks Zoo Employee

Visitors to the Emperor Valley Zoo in Trinidad and Tobago witnessed a dramatic moment when a massive albino python attacked a zookeeper during feeding time, biting him on the stomach.

The zoo staff member had thrown a rabbit into the enclosure for the python, but the reptile did not respond. Subsequently, the employee tried to bring the rabbit closer to the python's mouth, at which point the animal struck.

A colleague came to the zookeeper's aid. The zoo management stated that the python is generally very docile, and such an attack on a human is an unusual occurrence. They attributed the incident to the trainer's failure to maintain safety protocols while interacting with the animals.
