Video: A ‘VAZ-2107’ Rolls Off a Bridge on the Yerevan-Meghri Highway

On July 16, at 18:09, the emergency hotline received a report about a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, near the bridge close to Shahumyan village, with injuries reported and assistance needed.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, at the beginning of the bridge, a ‘VAZ-2107’ vehicle (driven by N.S., born in 1998) had left the roadway and rolled down.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, N.S. was taken to Artashat Hospital, where doctors assessed his condition as severe. Rescuers disconnected the car's electrical system and closed the gas cylinder valve.
