Two Soldiers Among Those Injured in Shirak Province Accident

As previously reported, today at approximately 3:00 PM, a traffic accident occurred near the village of Keti in Shirak Province. A Mercedes vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned, resulting in the driver and four passengers sustaining varying degrees of bodily injuries. Four of them were transported to Gyumri Medical Center by ambulance, while a passenger born in 2007 was taken to the "Gyumri Mother and Child Austrian Hospital," where his condition is assessed as moderate.

According to Shantnews.am, Armen Khachatryan, the deputy director of Gyumri Medical Center, stated that three of the injured – Vilen Badasyan (born in 1999), Hambardzum Hambardzumyan (born in 2000), and Hovhannes Serobyan (born in 1999) – are residents of the village of Khankoyan in Lori Province. Vilen Badasyan has been diagnosed with a laceration in the postauricular area; he is a conscript soldier and has already been transferred to a military hospital in Yerevan.

Hambardzum Hambardzumyan has been diagnosed with a lumbar fracture and has been discharged from the hospital after receiving outpatient care, while Hovhannes Serobyan has been diagnosed with polytrauma and is also a soldier who will be transferred to a military hospital after his condition stabilizes.

Meanwhile, passenger Sahak Ghukasyan, born in 1998 and a resident of the village of Mayisyan in Shirak Province, has been diagnosed with a cranio-cerebral trauma and is currently in the intensive care unit, in stable condition.

Preliminary data suggest that the soldiers were on leave and were traveling to Shirak Province to visit a fellow serviceman.
