Celebrations of the Bastille Day in Paris Turned into Unrest
In the French capital Paris, a military parade was held to commemorate the Bastille Day, after which unrest erupted in the streets. The country’s authorities failed to prevent the breakdown of public order.
Participants of the protest march, chanting slogans of the "yellow vests," began dismantling barriers placed on the streets in an attempt to create blockades. Due to the ensuing clashes, police were forced to use tear gas.
