Ombudsman Intervenes Following Council Member Tehmine Vardanyan's Alert

The representatives of the Human Rights Defender have visited a location in Yerevan where the eviction of citizens is taking place, based on alerts from Yerevan City Council members Ani Khachatryan and Tehmine Vardanyan, as well as lawyer Nina Karapetyants.

This information has been reported by the Office of the Human Rights Defender. According to the alerts, children are also present in the apartment in question. The Human Rights Defender's staff is also in contact with the Police.

It is noteworthy that Tehmine Vardanyan had raised concerns about this incident during a Facebook live broadcast.
