Attempts to tarnish my reputation are doomed to failure: Reaction of Samvel Karapetyan's nephew
I have no desire to comment on various intrigues; I will only say that the press reports regarding my involvement in the beating do not correspond to reality, and I have not used violence against anyone. This was stated by Narek Karapetyan, a representative of the Tashir Group, in an interview with Tert.am.
“Some people are trying to tarnish my good reputation, which is doomed to failure,” he added.
It should be noted that this evening, several media outlets disseminated unverified and contradictory information claiming that Narek Karapetyan, the nephew of Tashir Group owner Samvel Karapetyan, allegedly beat someone named Vahe Parazyan.
N. Karapetyan stated in an interview with Tert.am that a criminal case has been initiated, and he expects all those responsible to be held accountable.
Our sources in law enforcement state that the circulating information suggesting that Narek Karapetyan assaulted Vahe Parazyan does not correspond to reality. It is also noteworthy that although the alleged incident occurred on July 3, businessman Vahe Parazyan, for unclear reasons, only decided to tell the media about the incident a week later.
According to circulating information, Parazyan, although having worked in the Karapetyan businesses, has established his own company with similar business operations and attempted to carry out shady deals behind the backs of the Karapetyans, embezzling tenders.
Upon learning about the incident, Narek Karapetyan recently met with Parazyan at a restaurant owned by his family, demanding that he cease such methods. The conversation between the young men then continued outside, where according to an eyewitness, Vahe Parazyan attempted to strike Narek Karapetyan, but security personnel prevented the incident.
After the incident, Parazyan contacted the authorities, and seven days later decided to tell the media about the events, distorting the facts and presenting them to his advantage.
