The assistant to the President of Armenia, Margarita Azaryan, who is also the mother of Arthur Vanetsyan, the Director of the NSS of Armenia, submitted her annual declaration for 2018 to the High Commission for Ethics of High-Ranking Officials on May 30, 2019.

By 2017, before taking the position of head of the personnel department of the President’s staff, Azaryan owned 3 properties: 1 apartment, 1 house, and 1 plot of land.
Her husband, Gagik Vanetsyan, submitted his annual declaration for 2017 to the ethics commission in March 2018. In 2017, Vanetsyan acquired 2 houses for 48 million drams and 198 million 440 thousand drams. That same year, he also purchased a vehicle, a 'MERCEDES-BENZ C 200', for 22 million drams.
