The elevator has not fallen. Hakob Karapetyan, the spokesperson of the Yerevan Municipality, spoke about the incident that occurred in Davtashen.

“According to preliminary information, the elevator of one of the buildings in Davtashen’s 3rd district did not fall from the 3rd floor, but rather descended to the first floor slightly faster than usual. The citizen inside was rescued with the help of the Emergency Situations Ministry. He was not injured. According to information received from the Ministry, the elevator does not have technical issues,” the spokesperson wrote on his Facebook page.
