VIDEO: Arrests Made of Those Throwing Trash at City Hall

A group of citizens staged a protest outside the Yerevan City Hall today. “It has been 10 long and arduous months since they took office. Nothing has been cleaned. For their negligence, Mr. Haik Marutyan has provided bonuses from our budget to those demonstrating inaction,” said Sona Aghekyan, a member of the ‘Yerkir Tsirani’ party.

During the protest, participants threw trash near the main entrance of the city hall. Moments ago, police detained several demonstrators, including Sona Aghekyan.
