Citizen Falls into Voghji River in Kapan

On June 29, at 18:00, the Emergency Situations Ministry of Armenia received a call reporting that a citizen had fallen into the Voghji River in the Baghaberd neighborhood of Kapan, Syunik Province. Immediate assistance from rescuers was required.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene. Before the rescuers arrived, a bystander named A.K. (born in 1952) was successfully pulled from the river by fellow citizens. The rescuers then brought the victim to an ambulance.

The injured individual was hospitalized at Kapan Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.
