Entry of Russian MP Sitting in the Speaker's Chair of Tbilisi Parliament Banned in Georgia
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Gigi Gakharia, has announced that Russian State Duma Deputy and Chairman of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy, Sergey Gavrilov, will not be allowed to enter the country.
According to Gazeta.ru, the minister stated that Georgian border guards will not permit the Russian parliamentarian to enter Georgia. At the same time, he noted that the image of Gavrilov is the least of his concerns in the current situation in Georgia.
